My 1st taste of DragonBoat

Today is Gusto's 1st dragonboat session. My mum was saying it's an activity not everyone get a chance to try it out. Qing Chun Bu Liu Bai so must try out everything and enjoy. :p
It was raining in school before we set off. I was 'bragging' to our coordinator that if it rained in the west, it won't rain in the east. Indeed, it wasn't raining at Kallang....fortunately, otherwise our coordinator will be coming after me. :p
I brought my jc classmate, Karen to join Gusto. Our programme executive thought she's 1 of the volunteers from RP, teaching us how to dragonboat. Hehee... She's more sociable, outgoing and enthusiastic than me, surely everyone can see a difference between the both of us. Can see she jokes with the students more than I do. Over the next few months, she may be a better volunteer than me..... Hope the students would benefit.
Dragonboat is really a tiring team sport, having require a lot of stamina to work the paddle as well but enjoyable. Got to learn some of the commands and techniques such as forward, backward and stop the boat from moving. Teamwork is very important otherwise the boat won't move.
